Published on May 11, 2021, uhh samples the outro of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ 6, a song off of YAYAYI's self titled album. It is unclear whether or not YAYAYI is aware of this, however framed's looped version has over 70 million plays on Spotify, therefore framed ultimately claiming all the revenue from the song. People who previously made video edits of "uhh" have now revised their titles and credits to YAYAYI themselves. On March 17, 2023, YAYAYI released a song on Bandcamp titled \\\, a seemingly slowed down version (identical to "uhh") of the outro of "\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ 6", with a slightly different start, indirectly pointing to his acknowledgment of the supposedly uncleared sampling of the song. It is listed for a minimum of 1000$ on the Bandcamp website. YAYAYI has recently stated in a Reddit AMA that they are still currently working on taking legal action regarding the song, as they have previously acknowledged framed's presence since 2022 after referencing them via the title on YAYAI's now-deleted mixtape "i'm gonna sue them".
