You could use a calendar to mark when spooky season will arrive each year, or you can check BabyTron’s discography to see when a new Halloween-themed project arrives. Though the Detroit rapper and ShittyBoyz member is one of the most prolific MCs in the game, he turns things up a notch when it’s time to pick out a costume and get the candy supply stocked. In 2024, he emerged with Tronicles, a sprawling opus that features nearly 30 tracks and references to figures like Hawk Tuah, Neymar, and Clark Kent. On Tronicles, though, BabyTron saves plenty of time to rap about his favorite holiday, like on “Nightmare on Yo Street,” where he spits over sparse piano notes that allude to the movie theme he riffs on in the title.
