The album was released on the first day of soren's run of live shows supporting Aries on the GLASS JAW World Tour, starting in Dublin on April 8 and continuing throughout the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand in April and May 2026. The album is soren's first release in 2 years following the release of their highly anticipated single laced up and accompanying short film in August 2024, in addition to the re: remix EP that October, and a cover of THE THIRD EYE by japanese rock band The Pillows for the FLCL Reanimated soundtrack that November. The album is 12 tracks and 28 minutes long, featuring narration throughout from actor Daniel Riordan, best known for his voice acting as the character Alduin in the 2011 video game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The album was mixed by fellow hyperpop artist tracey brakes and features additional writing from Chi Duong, Stu Robinson, Ray Sequoya, and Louis Cole.
