Intended to be the final collection of older material put out by the band, the majority of the tracks on 'Transcend' take on a jazzier approach than the previous two works by Technological Sun. An exception is the title track, which begins the EP with an explosive introduction of ethereal soundscapes followed by a standard Psychedelic Rock number. All the material released here was previously recorded in 1996 and 1997 with the exception of 'Je Ne Say What,' a new track recorded in 2008 shortly after the band's reunion.
