Carl’s tenth CD featuring duets with some of the finest guitarists in the world: Joe Bonamassa, Albert Lee, Scott Henderson, Steve Morse, Rick Vito and Robben Ford. It is called it Trading 8s because most of the songs actually find him trading 8 or 16 bar phrases with one of these monsters of guitar. Prolific bassist, Dave Marotta (Phil Collins, Colbie Caillot), and master drummer and percussionist, Walfredo Reyes, Jr. (Santana, Traffic, Steve Winwood), round out the Carl Verheyen Band. Long-time session favorite of the Band, Jim Cox, is on organ. Released on Cranktone Entertainment in 2009.
