Album
TOUCH produced by Gene Shiveley and released in early 1969, featured Jeff Hawks on lead vocals, Don Gallucci on keyboards, Joey Newman on guitars, Bruce Hauser on bass and John Bordonaro on drums. Many early Progressive Rock bands have credited them with practically creating the sub-genre after releasing this now obscure and innovative album - so much that the prospect of not being able to perform it live led to their end. The TOUCH album stands out in a way that only few can, forty years or a week later. It is a gem that needs to be listened to - hopefully in a way that is difficult to do in this sonically saturated world of apocalyptic commercial excess.
