“Tongue Tied” is a song by American–K-pop artist AleXa that competes in Melodifestivalen 2026, Sweden’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The track was co-written by AleXa alongside Ellen Berg, Jonatan Gusmark, Ludvig Evers and Moa Carlebecker, and is scheduled to be released in conjunction with the broadcast of the competition’s fifth heat, where it will open the show on 28 February 2026 in Sundsvall. AleXa performs the song as the first act in Heat 5, positioning it early in the running order. Melodifestivalen 2026 features 30 entries selected by Sveriges Television (SVT) from public submissions and internal invitations, and acts compete across five heats with the aim of qualifying for the final in Stockholm on 7 March 2026. “Tongue Tied” continues AleXa’s involvement with the Swedish music scene following her previous work with Swedish songwriters and her success in winning the American Song Contest in 2022.
