To Be Loved is the eighth studio album by Canadian vocalist and songwriter Michael Bublé. The album was released in the United Kingdom on April 15, 2013, before being issued in Canada on April 22 and the United States on April 23. The album was preceded by the release of the lead single, the original composition It's A Beautiful Day, released on February 25, 2013. The album was produced by Bob Rock and recorded in Vancouver, Canada and Los Angeles. The album includes 10 standards and 4 original songs all co-written by Bublé, Bob Rock, Alan Chang and Amy Foster-Gillies. The album also features appearances from actress Reese Witherspoon on " Something Stupid", Naturally 7 and The Puppini Sisters and includes covers of songs such as the Bee Gees's " To Love Somebody", Dean Martin's " Nevertheless (I'm in love with you)", the Miracles's " Who's Loving You", Jackie Wilson's " To Be Loved", and Elvis Presley's " Have I Told You Lately". In Bublé's opinion, this is the best record's he's ever made, as he said on his website “I think it’s the best album I’ve ever made…I know every artist on earth says that when their new album is coming out but really - this time it’s true.
