TK ULTRA is That Kid’s third mixtape, released on August 29, 2024. The mixtape name is a play on Project MK-Ultra which was an illegal program that experimented on humans that subjected them to brainwashing and mind control. Spencer revealed that his frequent collaborator and friend, Ayesha Erotica, thought of the name for a song but didn’t make it on the standard version. Spencer has described the mixtape as a very rave and club inspired project with hints of pop in the mix. The project was originally going to be a sister mixtape to his debut mixtape Crush to appeal to fans but was scrapped as he decided that he wanted to make music he’d like to perform live and likes listening to himself. The mixtape was promoted with 3 singles Q.O.S.D, Tila Tequila, and Spencer Needs A Ladder. A deluxe and remix version of the mixtape has been teased and remains in works.
