TidalBore is a concept album that attempts to reproduce a natural event in the guise of an ambient recording. The first several tracks are evocative of the force of a tidal bore wave as it moves upriver from the sea as a continuous wavefront ; "TidalBore"is such an event translated into music. The album was partially inspired by the work of Schubert, in particular the composition known as The Trout / Die Forel.
