"Three songs" is an extract from the album "Subversive Frailty", still not published. Even though the idea was to record a lo-fi album with a few instruments, the arrangements and sound have long been studied to create the peculiar atmosphere of the album. A lot of Music and Artists can be mentioned as an influence on it, The Velvet Underground, the solo-career of Nico for the use of the harmonium, early recordings of Mercury Rev, but the songs are hard to define.
