Deathrune is a New York band that arose in the early 1990's. The band opened for several big names including Morbid Angel, Unleashed, and Deicide. Several demos were released over the years which clearly show the evolution of the Deathrune style. In 1996 the full-length CD "Those Who Choose The Fallen" was recorded. This album was never officially released as the band was not happy with the sound and overall production. These 5 tracks from the CD have been uploaded just now in 2011 as a prelude to some possible new Deathrune activity. This new material will be consistent with where the band left off - strong traditional death metal with an emphasis on songs as exemplified by the early Swedish and Florida styles.
