“I struggled with lockdown. I think everyone did. I found it quite difficult because I couldn’t do what I love doing, which is playing, performing, touring and obviously the same stuff that everyone went through, not being able to sort of see people, go out. It was a hard time for everyone in different ways. I think this song was a way for me to make sense of that and kind of be like: this situation isn't great but I could choose to be sad, to be despaired, to see things for the negative that they are or I can take the things that are still good.
