"The End." The venerable producer behind the Dream Catalogue label has decided to retire his Hong Kong-themed persona. Before transitioning into the new, more ambiguous moniker, "HKE", Hong Kong Express has decided to go out with a bang, releasing this final album that features the signature ambient and dreamlike sound fans have come to expect, with thudding, massive percussion that packs a perfect punch. The album also features several Dream Catalogue veterans like t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者, Shima33, Chungking Mansions, V I R T U E and OSCOB who complement each track they're featured on perfectly. While Hong Kong Express as a name might be dead, HKE will take its place and continue to make great music. However, this is perhaps the best way to retire a persona that fans could ask for.
