Album
Strawman (from Washington DC) released the albums “Things Left To Do” (2003) and “American Idle” (2004) on their own imprint, Rags To Records. Their influences included Faith No More, 311, Mr. Bungle, Jellyfish, Primus, Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, Tool, “S.C.I.E.N.C.E” from Incubus, the first few records by RHCP, and some other random noise. They opened shows for Everclear, Fuel, Anthrax, Seether, Collective Soul, The Exies, Skindred, Crossfade, and Smile Empty Soul. For three months in 2004, they toured the US as a support act for The Kottonmouth Kings. Shortly after that tour, various personal issues (divorce, job loss, grad school, family) took a toll on the band and they were forced to dissolve. There is a web series about their final tour at FollowTheIdiots.com User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
