They Made History

Originally this record was made as the soundtrack for the 2005 series of tv programs "De skrev historie" (Danish for "They Made History"), broadcasted by DR (The National Danish Broadcasting Corporation). A series about 41 politicians who made impact on world history. The program host, Steffen Kretz, initially searched his cd collection to find some music that would suit the programs. Something that would stress the atmosphere but not take away attention from the pictures. He found a Bliss record, and contacted the artists, which resulted in an exciting cooperation. Working with DR, Bliss had access to the national symphonic orchestra of Denmark, which became an exciting musical challenge for Bliss to incorporate. Read more (in Danish) on the program site.
