At the time the band consisted of only Dan Hutchison and drummer Will Tarbox. Squidboy (and former Why Make Clocks) lead guitarist Eric Kennedy contributed additional guitar to "Self Impressions" and "Sometimes" and Luke Tweedy added some additional effects and noise, most noticeably to "Checkmate."
