Sometimes Released July 2009 on Sleep On The Floor Records, Why Make Clocks' third full-length These Things Are Ours was recorded in 2008 at Flat Black Studio in Iowa City produced by Luke Tweedy. At the time the band consisted of only Dan Hutchison and drummer Will Tarbox. Squidboy (and former Why Make Clocks) lead guitarist Eric Kennedy contributed additional guitar to "Self Impressions" and "Sometimes" and Luke Tweedy added some additional effects and noise, most noticeably to "Checkmate."
