The Westminster Conspiracy was the 4th recording session by 48westway incorporating the, by now well practised, retreats into a more instinctive audio experience. Its main focus was as a chance to experiment with some new sound station varients, including sample sets at the vocal station that involved some useful snippets of debate. Yanni was key to the development and production of this EP, putting a lot of work into the new concepts and securing a comfortable environment in which to capture the performance. Only Julien, Alex and Alan were present from the last group, approaching the session with a new found sense of unity alongside Yanni. It was recorded at Westminster University in November of 2004, but it was not until the summer of 2005 that any finished pieces were worked and finished by Julien. The session was quite short, at less than an hour and a half, but the pace and mood were very dynamic.
