The Pony Box (2011) is an informal and very eclectic "greatest hits" collection showcasing the prodigious songwriting talents of Vaughn Trapp.... "I literally do not give a damn about genre or stuffing myself into any one stylistic box..." says the ineffable Mr Trapp whose background is in indie, alternative and classic rock. "...i care about Songs; lyric, melody, arrangement and production" "If the song requires an 80's Rockpile approach, that's where I'll take it. If it wants R&B strings or a pedal steel guitar, that's the genre I'll inhabit for that 3 1/2 minutes. I'm out to make every song I do as brilliant as it can possibly be on its own terms....that, and i simply get bored working one vein.
