Jazzbox aka. Per Ebdrup has produced for Aura ("I will love you monday" platinum in Germany), Camille Jones ("The creeps" top 10 in UK), Ida Corr, Kenneth Bager and many others. Jazzbox is his solo projekt. The new Jazzbox album will be released 22. june on Kenneth Bagers label Music for dreams. It wil be entitled "The perfect album". The new album contain more vocal and a less chilled sound compared to the debut "Jazz is the grass i cut". Featured musicians are Nikolaj Hess, Mikkel Hess, Anders AC Christensen, Karin Kassell Mikkelsen and Anders Juncker. Jazz, electronica, pop and dance music are mixed and marks a more personal and original style for Jazzbox. A cover version of Simon and Garfunkels "Sound of silence" has also found its way to the release, represented in a deep, clubby and guitardriven universe. The album was recorded and produced during the last two years and has taken many shapes and forms before reaching its final destination. Per Ebdrup had 10 of his own tracks, mostly minimal techno and odd eksperimental tracks and went to Copenhagen, where he hooked up with Mikkel Hess (drums), Nikolaj Hess (Grand, Hammond) and Anders Christensen (Bass). They improvised jazz over the tracks and Per took the files to his studio where he chopped and blended the recordings with his voice and his own elements. The original files were sometimes proccessed beyond recognition. The vocals have a moody sound and a unique expression. Per discovered during the making of "The perf
