Jumping boots-first into the esoteric heritage symbolized by the legends of Arcadia, The Pachinko Allahs ' left-field stroll down Strange Avenues lead from inarticulate horrors to whimsical flights of fantasy. Along the way, they endeavor to re-appropriate the old Celtic drinking songs that Charles Wesley ripped off on behalf of his blood cult. Flying squirrels, suffering bastards and bizarre obscurities abound, with a few gentle melodies sprinkled about. Tony Arnold would migrate to other concept projects such as Musaphonic and Macular Degenerates. Tess Brunet (deadboy & Elephantmen, Animal Electric, Twin Tigers, Fangtar) helps out this go-round with vocals and some tasty autoharp.
