"The Lapdancer" is a concept Soundtrack LP by Soulpersona Starring Princess Freesia as Avalon Lexus, a high class call girl and erotic dancer. The album tells a story over the 16 songs, as Avalon (Played by Princess Freesia) narrates her way through her exciting, dramatic and sometimes disturbing career. The story unfolds over a super soulful, raregroove, jazz funk, disco dusted soundscape produced by SoulP. Expect a generous amount of delicious up-tempo, discofied dance floor fillers, as well as some slinky mid tempo hip shakers and a few spine tingling slow jams. The whole album was produced in SoulP's dining room studio, and all the vocals were recorded through the internal mic of Princess Freesia's Macbook.
