Album
On March 23, Radar Brothers released The Illustrated Garden. Jim Putnam has found a new band of brothers in bass player Be Hussey and drummer Stevie Treichel, two partners who are equally passionate about the band. The Illustrated Garden is the punchiest, most lyrically direct set of songs the band has released to date. The songs are unmistakably Radar Brothers, but the Treichel/Hussey rhythm section often pushes them in unexpected directions. '. . .sounds like a cross between the score to a Spaghetti Western and beard folk. Like Ennio Morricone working with the Fleet Foxes. It's the kind of song that would sound perfectly natural in the local country bar, or the college rock station.' ~Blogcritics User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
