The Home Stretch guide by BC: 'The Party Shitter' - Recorded the guitar part half-assed and added bass and drums to see what it would sound like. Saw the party shitter in a book of idioms and liked it. 'The Home Stretch' - Messing around on the keyboard playing with the sounds, and added dopplered bass to try and crack the kids up. 'Boyfriend’s Back' - Title and keyboard/drum track from Gentle Friendly / Shocked Elevator Family’s Maurice. Lines related to drinking on a train platform and having flashbacks / premonitions at the same time. 'D-Vibes' - Chorus idea started out from a lads drinking chant that my friend Ralph told me about: 'If you’re big and you know it and you’re walking through a forest…' and then morphed into 'sick and you know it' to cover more bases. 'Mixed' - Throwaway track about a young guy out in the sticks, remembering better times in the city. 'Young n’Nasty' - Title from a petrol station magazine. Ended up as more of a clip than a song, big drums from America via Scott Domansky. 'Twilight Highlight' - Can’t remember recording the original keyboard part, a soundbyte of powerlines running though recording. Caught a buzz shouting the vocals in a quiet Japanese guest house after a few bevvys. Drums by Owen Churchill, in addition to tracks 1 and 9. 'Crabwise' - An old one record
