The Harvest Floor is the fourth full length studio album by the American deathgrind band Cattle Decapitation. Released through Metal Blade Records on January 20, 2009, it sold 1,700 copies in the United States in its first week. It is considered a major stepping stone from their earlier style, primarily grindcore, into the more death metal sound they adopted in subsequent albums. The Harvest Floor features stong aspects of both styles, and moves toward normal song-lengths, with the shortest being 2:49, compared to previous albums which featured many songs under one minute.
