“The Great Unknown” is the 12th studio album by Sarah Geronimo, released under VIVA Records in 2015. The album was certified 2× Platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) in 2016 and went on to win Album of the Year, the top prize at the annual Awit Awards (the Philippines’ equivalent of the Grammy Awards) that same year. The album spawned several hit singles, including “The Great Unknown” featuring Hale, which was the #1 music video of 2016 on MTV Philippines, “Kaibigan Mo” featuring Yeng Constantino, a Billboard Philippines Top 40 hit in 2017, “Misteryo,” which earned Geronimo the Artist of the Year award at the 2018 Myx Music Awards and the mega-successful “Tala,” a Top 20 Billboard Global hit with over 200 million views on YouTube.
