Strange Days was formed by vocalist/gituarist Jorgen Rief and drummer Richard Berby in Oslo, Norway in 2006. Rief had been sitting alone in his little recording studio for years contemplating a record way in the back of his mind. Luckily, Berby came to his aid and after a few tries the band now consists of Riefs wife Elisabeth Leithe on vocals and keys, and Erik Larsen on bass. In june 2010 they released their debut vinyl album "the great cardinal sin", recorded and co-produced by former guitarist and friend Kai Christoffersen. A few days later they played the Hove festival in the south of Norway. Strange Days are now recording their second session but before that will come a release of the left-overs from cardinal.
