The Flood is the début studio album by electronica musician Xan Young, to be released by Asto Nautico. It features an R&B-inspired, pop-oriented sound and falsetto vocals. The album’s lead single, “Passion,” was released on 22 July 2015, and generated coverage by music blogs. Due to an apparent error, The Flood was released prematurely on online music stores in early August 2015, before being taken down from most distribution channels. The album will be released in either August 2015 or early 2016, according to conflicting reports from music blogs.
