Layla Zoe has performed for audiences all over the world and is being considered for a film about Janis Joplin's life. Layla does write lyrics that rival the ones of Joni Mitchell and her voice does remind a lot of Janis Joplin, as others have observed. But Layla has got the authenticity that is necessary to place her among the best. A full grown woman telling stories full of passion and lesson she had to learn. You believe every words she sings. Good that she strayed from the path of the Blues that so many have walked on before and truly found her own way.
