The Cyberpunk Archetype is a concept album in the making, telling the story of a young boy named Halcyon and his computer friend Socrates. When Halcyon is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he begins to recede from the world, taking solace in a computer program of his own creation named Socrates. As the disease spreads and Halcyon is hospitalized, he finds himself so disconnected with the rest of humanity that he no longer values his own. Approached by a shadowy government organization, Halcyon is presented with an opportunity to be a part of an experimental program to save his life. He will be transported to a government medical facility and have his failing body parts replaced with circuitry. Against Socrates' suggestions, Halcyon consents and learns the horrible truth about the government's plan for the newly created cyborgs. In the end, Halcyon will learn what truly makes a man and discover that humanity is not about being human.
