Beginning writing and singing only 8 years ago, Brian Grissom has come a long, long way. This independent singer/songwriter started his hobbyist career as a penner of mournful, love-lost songs, Brian has progressed over the years to tackle a gamut of topics and styles. Maturing in life and music has done wonders for this young troubadour. "The Charlotte Sessions" is a collection of B-sides and demos that Brian recorded as part of his journey to writing his concept EP, "Caroline." Originally set to be a complete album, Brian's focuses changed. However, Brian felt he had spent too long on some of the songs to make them wait for the next album. Recorded over a span of 3 years in a bedroom (and closet) in Charlotte, North Carolina, "The Charlotte Sessions" is the end result of time and patience.
