The Antarcticans after starting for many bands within the Los Angeles area released their debut self-titled album "The Antarcticans" sometime in 2004. "The Antarcticans" is an album consisting of three seperate sections which translate smoothly into each other at the end of each track. An explosion of noise, post-rock, and abstract ideas all contained in a 54 minute run time. It was released under the record label, "The New Black", which was created by two of the band members. On the physical CD release, David J. (David Jasso), one of the band members, is credited as the artist and screen printing for the design, along with other band members credited, drawn on together with marker and black printer paper. Fun Fact: The Antarcticans used a black on black CD for this release, which are hard to come across normally, the track titles are also not printed on the physical release.
