Thanks for Waiting is East London MC Potter Payper’s fifth mixtape and follows the 2020 conclusion to his Training Day trilogy mixtape series. This is Potter’s first project released under the 0207 Def Jam label since being signed in June 2021. The mixtape was first teased through the release of “Topshottas Freestyle” in May 2021. The project’s leading single “Catch Up” featuring M Huncho was released in June 2021, with the second singe “Nothing’s Free” featuring Suspect OTB coming in September alongside the mixtape announcement.
