Album
Released May 1st, 2009. Recorded at Some Desperate Studio, Raleigh, NC. This album is a concept album about an abusive relationship, and uses the metaphor of drug addiction. The songs follow the protagonist from his initial highs (e.g. Muse and Addict), to his extreme lows (e.g. The Darkness) and finally his fight for independence and self-respect (e.g. Your Words and Excessive Force) and his eventual realization and recovery (e.g. Manifesto). This is the debut album of Some Desperate Glory. It sold out its initial physical run, and in celebration, all the songs are available for free download from last.fm and http://somedesperateglory.bandcamp.com Trivia: The guitar played on this record is the same Gibson Les Paul Custom used on Tori Amos' record, Scarlet Walk.
