"Surrender", a 5 track EP, was recorded in Kingston-Upon-Thames (Greater London, UK), in 2005 on a 8 tracks digital recorder. The introduction of the fourth track "Birds & Neighbours" features, as it's title might reveal, the birds living in a tree just outside Pevin's window as well as his noisy human neighbours. Those sounds usually judged as a hindrance to the recording artist where here recycled into material. Pevin wrote the second song "Tree's Butcher" as a reaction to that very same tree being chopped down . On the fifth and last song "One", the human-beat-box and electric-guitar track were both recorded with the same take.
