Sugarless GiRL is the eighth album released by capsule. First pressings included a bonus item which was a capsule phonestrap located in the spine of the CD case. Like "FRUITS CLiPPER", the packaging is made of multiple layers, including one transparent plastic sheet with a holographic doodle and a bottom layer of the CD insert. It is also capsule's first album to not include a lyrics booklet. The album is known for using stock audio as vocals, letting normal vocalist Koshijima sing very few tracks. "Sugarless GiRL" almost completely abandons the pop sound heard in previous albums in favor of more house, club, electronic, and dance tracks. It has been dubbed "electro mode music". Remixes of the title track were heard in the LIAR GAME finale; the score of which was also produced by capsule's Nakata Yasutaka. The iTunes edition of the album contains the song "Star Sniper". It reached the #25 place in the Oricon charts. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
