Recorded at New Sofa Sound in Pennsylvania during the Summer of 2009. Released in January of 2010. Total run time of 29:18 This is Ghosts in the Valley's debut album. Recorded live in the studio with minimal overdubbing, Subtle as a Brick is filled with quick, hyper-active songs that usually clock in at around 3 minutes. Even though it was recorded in the 21st century it could easily sit along side post-punk albums from the early 80s on labels such as Dischord or SST.
