Album
This album is by the band Beyond The Pale, a band from Texas that has been performing in the Untied Sates for over 15 years. This album was released in 2002 and is Beyond The Pale's third album. It contains several of their most popular tracks including "With Her Head Tucked Underneath Her Arm", an old song from the 1930s about Ann Boleyn, "The Widow" a song about a woman who gets the best of the Devil in bed, and a few of original tracks including the original song by Gordon McLeod "The Fate of The Children of Lir" based on a traditional Irish fairy tale. There are also several instrumental tracks in the traditional Irish dance music vein ( jigs and reels!). The album was released on the label Ceol Na Feinne which has released all of Beyond The Pale's albums as well as those by The Aisling String Trio and Gordon McLeod.
