The single that became a fan favorite of Damien's catalogue. Stop Holding On is about stop holding on to a relationship, and unable to let go of a good relationship, the arrangement is partially influenced by Daryl Hall & John Oates' Sara's Smile. The second track of the single is Why Don't You Stay is about waiting a long time for a love that's too strong to let go. The arrangement is mostly inspired by the Elvis tracks during the late 1960s-early 1970s like If I Can Dream and Sylvia. These two songs will be featured in the upcoming new studio album by Damien, For The Summer and The Times (10th August 2024).
