This album was the product of two separate projects from Novaki intended to be released as Napalm Vaxinations and Accelerationism. Noticing tonal similarities and having a similar core in noise, the two projects were merged into one with other songs added to continue the trend. The original tracks were intended to be unreleased, lo-fi experiments in noise. This included entire tracks recorded on an iPhone and laptop. Later synths and drum tracks were added to heighten the emotional intent and to make the jaggedness and harshness slightly more listenable. Novaki stated that he was highly inspired by Dominick Fernow (Vatican Shadow, Prurient) and Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never, Chuck Person) during the recording of STATIC WOMB.
