Great album from St Deluxe. At just under an hour this album is focused and not in a hurry. The crunching rythmn guitars are laced with beautiful melody on the lead. First track Slip Away is a fine example of this reminding the listener of the best of Dinsoaur Jr. It has the classic Scottish indie rock sound often heard in early Teenage Fanclub and Jesus and the Mary Chain records.
