Spitting Venom was recorded at Twin Cities Records in St. Paul and Humans Win in Minneapolis spring of 2009. Spitting Venom signifies the second coming of The Full on Quench born out of the ashes of frontman James Miller's previous incarnation of the group who performed as James A. and The Full on Quench. With the release of Spitting Venom, the band has taken on an edgier, grittier style of rock and roll while still maintaining the danceable grooves in the previously released self-title James A. and The Full on Quench.
