"Spiderr" is Bladee’s seventh studio album, following his 2022 collaborative album with Ecco2k, Crest. Production on Spiderr was handled primarily by frequent Bladee collaborator Whitearmor, with Gud producing the track "DISASTER PRELUDE" along with Whitearmor, and joakim benon on "She's Always Dancing" with Whitearmor as well. The project was first announced with its release date via the YouTube description of the lead single “DRAIN STORY,” reading: "Spiderr out Sept 30th" A pre-save link to the album was also in the description, showing the same cover as the aforementioned single. Later that same day, Pitchfork posted an article about the album, revealing its 13-song tracklist.
