Sphere is Ty Showers' 4th music release. The original release date for this album was supposed to be November 1st, but because of a snafu, it was released a month early (October 1), which coincides with the release of the "Showers" album (his 3rd release). Because of the snafu, Ty actually released two albums on the same day. On this album - Sphere - Ty introduces another new genre. The "music scene", where music serves as background music as Ty raps to a woman named Lisa. Also introduced, are two new downtempo tunes, "Thinking" and "Easy". There is of course the typical electronic jazz tunes, but this album is more varied than the previous 3 releases. You'll hear in the electronic jazz tunes, a strong funk element. There is also a song named "Siano" with a bass line reminiscent of Jaco Pastorius' teen town, but funky.
