The Space Babies first album is a fun light-hearted romp through reality. Rebecca and Michael sing about the wonder of having landed once again on planet earth. The song styles range from folk, rock, Bossa Nova, African, ragtime, love ballads and even what sounds like a cosmic reggae-jewish wedding party. The music playfully excites laughter while giving tribute to mother earth. Thoughtful cosmic lyrics, congas, world music…all earth influences are hinted at. Lots of sonic ear candy: ethereal fairy wings flapping, moon moans, butterfly giggles, Indian chanting, even alien harps.
