Sour Sweetness is the second single and title track from Grace Jackman’s yet to be released EP. It was officially announced on December 11th, 2024 and later released on the 28th of that same month. In the announcement post on instagram Grace Jackman said “ i forget to brush my teeth sometimes, but also, i've tried to move on from my past self and it's been hard, harmful to my brain, but i've had to cope with it all by my big self now which is a healing stage rather than completely relying on someone as if they're gonna solve all your problems for you. that's a hard responsibility to put on their shoulders. so yeah, will i ever be clean again hmm... i'll always get held to my past actions from when i was a bit of a bitch but i can't go back, i gotta move on and prove i'm a better person sour sweetness is how i feel about my old ill self, im addicted but it's not great to miss/like it <3” in an instagram post later that month, they said “ SOOOO sour sweetness is out, which is insane. i've had this concept of an EP in my head since 2020 and it's slowly coming together. i've written so many different versions of the headline song, but the one you guys will are listening to was conjured up in my bedroom back in june and the chorus was written in the same studio session on the 7th of october dis year ! i want to say a big big fank u to akin for producing this track and being a huge supporter, we ultimately rock together and i'm excited for future projects to share with everyone !!
