Shaking Judy’s debut EP, Songs for Apollo, is an early showcase of the creative range of the band. Over the course of 5 songs, the EP experiments in various rock-oriented styles (pop, indie, and hard rock), blending them together into one musical statement. Recorded at Montreal’s Apollo Sound Studios, the EP led to the award of a Videofact grant for the song "On the Run," which aired on MuchMusic in 2007, and helped solidify a devoted fanbase.
