Album
From the retro Welcome Back Kotter-esque lilt of “thank you for the love” to the 1950s jazz lounge inspired bossanova flavour of the title track “somewhere sunshine”, every song on this album offers something equally satisfying and diverse both for the ears and the soul. Death, love, life – but let’s not forget the sun is always shining….somewhere. “Somewhere Sunshine” once again reunites indie folk-stress Rachael Brady and musical partner Nigel Kerr with producer/bassist Paulie B (george /the beautiful girls’ ) to deliver a vastly more mature and musically lush affair than their earlier efforts on Peace by Peace (2006). (Time Off Magazine) Plainly evident is an all around blossoming since the first album – in Brady as a vocalist and songwriter, in Kerr as a guitarist and songwriter and in Bromley as a producer.
