There seems to be two albums with the same name by band of the same name: 1. A 2012 sludge rock/black metal album by a band of the same name. 2. A 1975 Australian prog-rock album by the band of the same name 1) Snakes Alive is the debut solo album of the sludge rock band after a split record with Wire Werewolves. Taken from their bandcamp page: "Taking a huge step forward from the split LP with Wire Werewolves, the Snakes take their brand of powerful, heavy rock into amazing new levels by writing catchy, well crafted songs without compromising their unique and original musical vision. The combination of psychedelic textures and eyeball scorching artwork from the late great Daniel Kraus, make it as weird as it is heavy. Melting your mind, and your face." 2) Snakes Alive is the self-titular debut album by Australian progressive rock band of the same name. It was known for its mix of progressive rock, jazz rock, organ, and wind instrument solos. Original Tracklist (in order): 1. Dear Suzy 2. Abberations 3. Theme for Myra 4. Snakes Alive 5. Fruit Pie The album originally had no album cover and reportedly only 50 private pressings were made, making the album obscure and difficult to find nowadays. The band would break up and reform to try again, with no success. This lead to several bootleg CDs being made throughout the years.
