Sky Eye is the first release by Cairns, the musical extension of instrument-builder and artist Martin Cain. With Sky Eye, Cairns produces intense, cycling rhythmic patterns that evolve from abused and reused electronics. The tracks on Sky Eye evoke emotion and sensory landscapes that have been present in the human psyche since its inception, through the modern folk music that is the cyclic rumblings of our own electric infrastructure.
